Homemade Blush for Any Skin Tone

Hey, gorgeous! Do you hate spending so much money on make up?! What would you say if I told you there was a way to save tons of money so you could have more moolah for the more important things in life-- like shoes!

Have you ever thought about making your own makeup before? If you haven't then you may think it's crazy, but seriously-- you should try it! You have nothing to lose, but quite a bit to gain. One of the coolest things about DIY makeup is that it's easy and it saves a lot of money. You may even have all the ingredients in your home RIGHT NOW and you don't even know it.

After all, you are what you eat... and smear on your body!

DIY blush is really easy to make #DIYbeauty

Easy DIY Blush
Are you ready see how easy this is? I think you'll be blown away by how simple this DIY is and how you can really customize it to fit your personality by picking different tones and shades of powder. For instance, typically beet root powder is more red and hibiscus is more pink, and rose powder is more pinkish purple. However shades can vary depending on the brand you buy!
Different shades of DIY blush

STEP 1: Mix all ingredient in a small jar
STEP 2: Place lid on jar
STEP 3: Shake jar to combine
STEP 4: Put brush in jar
STEP 5: Tap excess blush off brush
STEP 6: Put on face

If you can tell me that it sounds like it would be too hard to make, then I don't know what to tell you.

DIY Makeup FAQ
Let's be real... I am an extremely pale individual so my perfect blush recipe may not be perfect for you. That's the beauty of DIY! Feel free to play around and experiment with the color. You can always add more color to get more pop!

How to make homemade #DIY blush. It is really easy to make for any skin tone.

But I don't like the color... what do I do?!
Don't worry! If you don't like the color, then you can always tweak it. You can add more colored powder if you want more vibrance, mix and match the different powders for a custom tone or add more arrowroot or cocoa if you want to tame it down. You really can't mess this one up!

I just want to make a little bit to try out. How can I do that?
Try the same recipe, but use teaspoons instead of tablespoons and only 1 drop of essential oil.

I want it to be more defined. It just doesn't seem to be really sticking.
Try moisturizing your cheeks with a little Organic Jojoba Oil or your favorite DIY moisturizer (like this one) before applying your makeup. Let it soak in and then apply the blush!

Do you have other makeup recipes to try?
Yes! Have you seen my foundation powder and tinted lip gloss? I just looooove it!

What kind of makeup brush do you use to apply your blush?
I love the Kabuki Make-Up Brush -- it's awesome!

DIY Blush takes seconds to make and can save lots of money
