The Man and I were becoming increasingly annoyed with our kitchen faucet due to mineral deposits. The misbehaving stream of water was constantly changing directions, randomly spraying every which way, casting mists which would cause us and everything around us to get wet. Now, you can understand that a person can only tolerate that for about a day.Maybe.
Probably not.
Okay, maybe 4 times max.
I decided to use some simple every day supplies to whip up something to remove those deposits!
What You Need
Simply combine the ingredients in a plastic bag, shake it a bit and then place it over the faucet, securing it in place with the rubber band. Let it sit for at least 3 hours and then remove it and test the faucet. If you need more time, then replace the bag. We left ours on overnight and it works like a charm! Once you're satisfied with the water flow, let the water run for a minute or so to wash away anything that may be left over that you don't want in your drinking/cooking water.
You can use this on bathroom shower heads too! :)
