SpaceGirl Organics Review in Central Florida

Even though the organic movement is increasing it's still difficult to find good quality produce at local supermarkets. As a result I joined a co-op early this year, but due to the economy they had to close down. I was so sad to have to go back searching for organic produce at my local grocer. And then I found Space Girl Organics which is based in Central Florida and delivers all over the local area. They have boxes of produce (which you can customize) that are affordable and are delivered right to your door in a cooler. Awesome.

You may not live in Central Florida, but I urge you to look to see if you have anything like this in your local area or even a co-op because the food quality really is worth it! Check out what I got this week! 

Apples, oranges, pomegranate, celery, carrots, limes, squash, pears, kiwi berries, green beans, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini. Whew! 

This is a pink pearl apple. I had never in my life even heard of one of these before so you can imagine my reaction when I bit into and saw that bright pink center! It's delicious! Sweet, but not too sweet. A little gritty, but a really great flavor. 

Kiwi berries-- again something I had never heard of and they are possibly my newest fruit obsession! These are so good! I think that they get even better as they age and get a little wrinkly, but they are also wonderful even if there isn't a wrinkle to be found. 

They are about the size of a grape, very soft, and they do have a similar taste as a kiwi, but a little sweet. So good!! They are addicting! 

Organic figs!! It's like a dream come true! That's not something that I can find at my local store! I'm in heaven. :)
