Easter Bunny Triple Chocolate Cake

This is NOT healthy, but it's fun so I like it. After all, it is a holiday. 

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix (I used devil's food cake)
  • 1 small package  of instant chocolate pudding package (dry)
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c melted butter
  • 2c of dark chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the chocolate chips in a mixer. Hand stir in the chocolate chips until blended. 

Pour into a well greased bundt cake pan and bake for 50-55 minutes

Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before you take it out of the pan

Let the cake cool before you decorate the cake


White Chocolate
Sweetened shredded coconut
Egg shaped candy

First, I put a crumbled ball of aluminum foil in the center of the bundt cake so I wouldn't need as much topping.

Toast the coconut for about 7-9 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool on the baking sheet.

I used the microwave to melt the white chocolate and I added a small amount of olive oil to help it pour more evenly.

As soon as it was ready, I poured it around the top of the cake and sprinkled the coconut on top. 

After it cools, feel free to decorate with the Peeps and easter egg candy
